Krocheebay Foundation was conceived by Charanjeet Chanderpal (born as Chander Kumar Gehi on 26. 02. 1974 in the city of Bombay, now Mumbai, in the State of Maharashtra in India), a practicing lawyer (’ also a senior government lawyer for the Ministry of Finance – Government of India- the Department of Income Tax), who since childhood was as brilliant in performing arts as he was in his academics.He did his schooling from the Bombay Scottish School at Mumbai. His childhood dreams of specializing in acting, music ’ related fields was sabotaged by a very sad case of belligerent family members, which took the toll of his father’s health. This made Charanjeet shoulder a lot many responsibilities with his mother, including looking after his father’s business of retailing in liquor after college. He graduated in Commerce from the H. R. College of Commerce ’ Economics. He went on to pursue Chartered Accountancy ’ Law simultaneously ’ finally left Chartered Accountancy to become a lawyer from the K. C. Law College in Mumbai (Law being his second love, after music – drama, etc.). The lacuna of not pursuing with performing arts always remained in his mind. In this period (1998- 2003), Charanjeet got associated with saints of the Sikh faith ’ studied almost all religions of the world. In this period he developed his command over music, poetry ’ related aspects of religion linked performing arts. He was on the verge of becoming an ascetic. However, destiny got him back into the material world of Law and Courts. After Charanjeet’s father expired in 2008, he became all the more sensitive as he saw further faces of human selfishness. This invoked the poet in him, which has its deep rooted links to music. Both are tranquil emotional expressions. The only difference being, poetry is a verbal expression of emotions finally taking its shape in human calligraphy ’ music is an aural expression of emotions. Some things which are made by the Almighty- the Omnipotent Cosmic force are universal. They are like water, sun, air, sleep ’/or any natural production. Emotions be in words, by gestures, or b sound bind cultures of various regions which may be different. ’ the love that animals give to mankind leagues them in the classification of the fortunate products of Mother Nature.

The aspect of setting up this Foundation was a result of a “Divine Blessing” believed to come from a small Holy Place known as Ganeshpuri, about 80 kilometers from Bombay/ Mumbai, founded by Revered Saint Swamy Nityananda of Ganeshpuri who left the human body on 08. 08. 1961. Commonly known as Baba Nityananda, is held at par with Sai Baba of Shirdi and other similar Divine Souls of India. However, even the Lord uses some human beings as a means to achieve his objective. The Lord used four such humans- first were the parents who pushed Chanderpal in performing arts in early childhood, the next was a young vocalist – Iqbal Qadri who taught Chanderpal the primary steps of Hindustani Vocal and the third was Mr. Gopal Malhotra, the dean of Live Wires Media Institute of Bombay. In addition the guidance of Mr. Raj Kumar Lalwani, a veteran music arranger and a key board specialist, who has done a lot of professional work on Indian Cinema cannot be ignored. The knowledge of religion may be attributed to the Adi Granth and prue scriptures of all religions and the association of saints, mainly Sant Ram Singh of Karnal, Haryana and of course the Blessing Swamy Nityananda of Ganeshpuri.

Charanjeet Chanderpal, plays the Indian Harmonium, the Sitar (an Indian musical instrument) at a professional level and also composes music, lyrics and poetry (both English as well as Hindi). Apart from the said two musical instruments, he plays the guitar, the tabla, the dafli, the ghatam (the musical earthen pot), the Shahi Baja/ Bulbul Tarang (a variation of the English Fiddle also resembling a Chinese musical instrument) and the piano. Chanderpal has been an award winning actor at the Inter School (wherein he acted even with today’s Indian film stars – Hrithik Roshan and Uday Chopra) and Inter College Level in both Hindi (mainly) and English Drama. His command over Hindustani Classical, Light, Western, Arabic and music from a number of countries is commendable. Charanjeet Chanderpal has indepth knowledge of the major religions of the world and strongly holds the view that religion as stated by Budha is a limited closed school of thought, in actuality the Divine Principles are only one as God is One. At the Courts, Chanderpal has been fairly successful and though appreciated by many is sometimes criticized for his extreme hardliner approach on some aspects which need a very strict approach in terms of societal development of the State of India. He is known to take risks through the legal and official irrespective of how powerful or influential or how well designated his opponent may be. Being pre occupied to a time consuming and nerve racking profession of Law and Litigation, a private company known as Kishin Chander Retail Services Pvt. Ltd ( a company incorporated under the Companies Act 1956, was floated with personnel to look after the marketing of products and the business aspects of Krocheebay Foundation, which was thereby made as proprietary concern of Kishin Chander Retail Services Ltd, the contribution of Charanjeet Chanderpal being to the extent of contribution to art, religion and culture.

The site, has been developed by Mr. Kaushik Rajagopal, the founder of Krisol Infosoft Pvt. Ltd. an incorporated company. His work done is appreciated and commendable. The word “Krocheebay” is actually the historical name of the city of Karachi, named as Crocheebay by the Britishers, the way Mumbai was named as Bombay. This name was selected as a matter of nostalgia in remembrance of the home town of Charanjeet Chanderpal which was compelled to be left by his grand- parents at the time of the bloody truncation of Undivided India in 1947. The old man with a wow sign by fingers, is actually a caricature of Swamy Nityananda and it is a registered trade mark of Krocheebay under the Indian Trademarks Act. All products of Krocheebay Foundation are under copyrights of the same and/ ro they have the authority to use them, any unlawful use of them shall attract strict legal measures at our end.

This site , Krocheebay Foundation , invites people from varied cultures , philosophers , playwrites , singers , religious researchers , musicians ,etc with a concentration on unification of culture. All moneys collected by Krocheebay Foundation would be utilized for a social cause. It is started by an hobbiest, who is a Lawyer by profession who encourages the objects of unification of cultures and religions. No money is being earned by the Lawyer , Charanjeet Chanderpal. A number of hobbiests and people such as Doctors , Engineers, etc have formed this site .
